Writer and Narrative Designer

I’m a veteran writer and narrative designer who’s worked on Zombies, Run!, Fallen London, Sunless Skies, and Peaky Blinders: The King’s Ransom.

My work has been praised for its compelling characters, gripping arcs, and thought-provoking choices. I specialise in dark or fantastical universes, but human concerns are at the core of what I do.

With a background in AAA porting — I’ve worked on Tomb Raider, XCOM, Total War, Hitman, BioShock and Alien: Isolation — I have experience in licencing, marketing, and localisation. It’s given me a holistic approach to writing and narrative design, and a unique understanding of how players experience story at all stages of a game’s life.
